Stanley Kubrick is one of my favorite filmmakers.
One of his great observations is that filmmaking is at its heart, problem solving.
How do you wrangle a cast and crew to breath life into your vision, when the only thing people care about are their own ideas?
That's the eternal question, and one directors like Kubrick answered brilliantly.
